 The Story Telling Card system uses a traditional card deck.
A chart is supplied with the book to enable the seeker to learn the system for The Story Telling Cards. The majority of draws have a six-week time frame. It deals with everyday events in a specific way. You can ask a range of questions about what is happening and receive practical, specific answers.
Based on a system that has its origins in 18th Century France and was used by renown card reader, Madame Le Normand, the original draw used a 9x4 spread and had political and historical significance.
By adapting and updating this system, The Story Telling Cards have relevance to the issues concerning people of today, whether it be money, career, home, love, travel, health or friends, that is totally unlike any other card deck currently available.
It works on a 6x6 spread using 36 cards and implements the principals of numerology. The Joker is included within the deck as the wild card, as the unexpected often happens in life.
The four suits give an overview of the question asked while the individual cards give an in-depth response to the specific question. The use of this system encourages in the seeker the growth of their understanding of their readings and the wider world.
The principals behind this system differ from the traditional Tarot deck approach. The Story Telling Cards pinpoint the actual issues rather than leaving them open ended.
Tarot traditionally deals with spiritual issues whereas The Story Telling Cards, as well as dealing with spiritual issues if needed, also deal with the everyday issues that affect us all.
This system supplies a means of connecting the seeker to their own energy and enables them to listen to their intuition or higher consciousness.
With this system you can become your own reader. No previous experience or psychic ability is required. The majority of draws covers a six-week time span, the time it would take most people to clear the issues that come up in the reading. If the issues raised are not dealt with then future draws will remain the same.

The targeted consumer group would be mainly females aged 25-50 years. However there are increasing numbers of males seeking enlightenment through card readings and the D-I-Y nature of this deck may appeal to men who would otherwise be shy of seeking help of this nature.
The Story Telling Cards have been used by the Ake Ake Readers for the past 2 – 3 years in their own readings for friends and public alike. This process has help to fine-tune the system and its application.
